MULLED WINE RECEPTIONS!

The Gift of the Pub

Great Christmas dinner in a classic pub setting. The food was brilliant according to all 15 people in our party (I was expecting prepared boil-in-a-bag food as The Mitre is part of a brewery chain all serving the same Christmas menu). We had Brits, American's, Muslims and Veggies in the party and everyone was happy. Including decent quality Crackers! The only disappoint was the speed of drinks service. Bottles of wine were wheeled out which kept most people happy but if you were drinking beers or shorts then the wait between drinks rounds was too long. Despite that, would thoroughly recommend The Mitre for your Christmas dinner. They even fitted 15 of us in with only 8 days notice in the middle of December.

We had our Christmas Lunch at the Mitre in one of their private rooms. This was an amazing event with great food, accommodating service and fantastic décor that gave it a Christmas feel. We will definitely be visiting again for our Christmas party next year.....especially as they brought out more roast potatoes to pass around.
